We provide the full range of programmes available from the Department of Education and Science – Junior Certificate, Junior Certificate Schools Programme, Transition Year, Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied and Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme.
This programme provides support to ensure that students enjoy positive experiences in the Junior Certificate. This is achieved through students recording their individual progress in each subject. Literacy and Numeracy skills are developed across each subject and this enables students to achieve success in the Junior Certificate exams.
This is a one year course open to all students upon completion of their Junior Certificate. Students get to experience the full range of senior cycle subjects, thus enabling them make informed decisions regarding subject choices for their Leaving Certificate the following year. There is a large emphasis placed on personal development and students are encouraged, supported and challenged to involve themselves in a wide variety of activities, both in and out of the classroom.
This is an alternative two year Senior Cycle course. It has an academic dimension in the main subject areas but has the added advantage of providing students with a practical and comprehensive preparation for the world of work. There is an emphasis on continuous assessment over the course of the two years which helps to keep students engaged and focused.
This is a two year Enterprise Links Module which is taken as an extra subject as part of the regular Leaving Certificate. The module involves students researching their local community, researching career paths, going on work placements and developing their computer skills.
